Tour Series comes back to North Lanarkshire

It’s the fifth consecutive year for Motherwell as a Tour Series host town

Motherwell will see UK’s cycling elite come together in its town centre as the second round of the OVO Energy Tour Series takes place on Tuesday 14 May. Everyone is welcome to attend this FREE event, which features cycling activities for all ages during the day before the main races start.

The programme will kick off at 12pm with entertainment for school children, followed by a number of support races categorised by age and gender. At 5.30pm will be the turn for professional female cyclists to compete at the Elite Women’s Race, after which the Elite Men’s Race will begin, at 7pm.

Whether you’re a cyclist, a sports fan or just someone looking to spend a day out in a different way, come along on Tuesday 14 March and experience the thrill of watching Britain’s leading televised cycle race series from a different perspective — on the spot.
